Bee & Lavender Acrylic Painting Workshop with Helen Pate

Artist Helen Pate will lead guests through this painting workshop. If possible, we will be outside adjacent to the lavender for this event, (weather permitting). However, if it is too warm outside, we will paint in the barn. Lavender snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, all materials, and instruction will be provided. Please arrive at the event at least ten minutes early so that we can start on time.

Helen Pate Bio: I am proud to call Gardnerville, NV, my home. I consider myself to be a contemporary impressionist (with a little whimsy), working mainly in oils and occasionally acrylic.  I am inspired by God's beautiful creation; i.e. nature, florals, chickadees, hummingbirds, bears, aspens, clouds & landscapes.  I LOVE vibrant, joyful and luminous colors, as well as having some FUN and expressive brushstrokes.  Over the years, I have learned to paint what I love and quite honestly most everything I gaze upon causes my heart to jump for JOY! I am truly blessed and grateful to the Lord to be able to share my passion for painting and my style of painting with YOU!  "The JOY of the LORD is my strength." Nehemiah 8:10
