A "Scentsational" Evening with Lavender

We welcomed several women to enjoy an evening with lavender. We started the evening with a fun stroll through the lavender to learn about the different cultivars planted and the large array of pollinators busy at work gathering nectar and pollen. (Parasols were provided!)

Our guest artist, Ashley, then took us into the barn to begin translating our inspiration onto our canvases. Of course, music, laughter, food, and drink were enjoyed throughout the evening as our attendees worked on their masterpieces.

Participants were able to analyze the lavender they were painting through photos and dried bunches at each seat. Some of our artists even used the spikes of lavender as a medium to bring different textures into their artwork.

Smiles, hugs, and beautiful works of art left our barn that evening! We are truly grateful for the excitement and motivation of our guests at this first of many Sip n' Paint events.
